VOLUNTEERS & HELPERS

Annual Teacher Supply Project
The United Methodist Women of KUMC are again collecting school supplies for the teachers of City Elementary! Each year we provide the teachers with supplies for their classrooms. This directly benefits the elementary age children from Branches and assures that all students at Florida City Elementary are provided with school supplies. A list of the needed supplies will be provided in a separate insert and in the Narthex. The best sales are now through August. Please contact Dianne Blitch at dblitch75@gmail.com or Joanna in the office with any questions. If you would like to support this project by donating funds, you can do so by making your check payable to KUMC with Teacher Supply Project as the notation. Thank you in advance for your kindness, generosity and any help you can give to this worthwhile project.

Missions Toy Collection
We are still collecting small dolls, inflatable balls and small things for children of Jamaica, which we will deliver when we go on our mission trip August 12-19. You may place items in the collection bin i the Church Lobby, or drop them off during office hours Monday - Friday between 9 am - 4 pm. For further information, please contact Norla Cruz.

Love & Care Pregnancy Resource Center
We need your help in providing baby items to pregnant teenage girls. Please contact Norla Cruz at (305) 297-9990 for any questions, or if you would like more information.

Jamaica Mission
Your small change can make a big change for the children of Jamaica!
Jamaica Mission is collecting your loose change!
Look for the marked water jug labeled “Jamaica Mission”.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami
Kumc Habitat Blitz Build Volunteer!
No skill or experience is required, just a heart for service. If you are interested, please contact Scott Norberg after the service or at (305) 984-9682.

We are also seeking donations that will help fund the construction of one of the Blitz Build houses – the Faith House. Please make your check payable to KUMC with ‘Habitat’ on the memo line.

THANK YOU
